Strange compadres come together from South Africa, England & Canada to spread a funky smell around Taiwan... The Smoking Cones have been wiggling bums all over Taiwan for over two years now with our multinational blend of funk, rock & reggae. Alas, it's hard to keep a band together in a foreign country... Next up is a tour of South Africa, planned to start around November of 2004.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We have performed live all over Taiwan, at both festivals & bars... Some highlights so far have been Spring Scream, the gig at Cactus Cafe after our set at Spring Scream Horse, two parties our friend Lady J threw at Hua Shan Arts House, Dashi Beach, the Peace Festival, and Tomstock.
