The Smith Project
So. This is basically based around me. Steve Smith, but i occasionally have others come in to play and record music with me, mainly Gage Jones. So, Most of this music will be heavy metal, but there will also be some acoustic or blues type stuff. Most of the music is random and unorganized, almost completley improvised. Usually ill have some riff idea, and just free style off of that.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well. I picked up a guitar when i was 14. And now...im 16, and play Guitar, Bass, Ukelele and vocals.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nah. I dont play live. Although, im in a band called "Unmundane" www.myspace.com/gravesideepitaph and we play live shows.

Steve Vai, Atreyu, Elliot Smith, As I Lay Dying, Tenacious D, Sublime, KillSwitch Engage, The Agony Scene. Stuff like that...
What equipment do you use?
I record using a program called Audacity, and line my guitar through a Digitech RP-50 multi-effects and into my computer. My guitars are:
