The Sandwiches
So you've made it to one of the crappiest corners of the internet which is owned by none other than, The Sandwiches. We mainly play a catchy set of pop punk songs, but we like to throw in some ska songs along with some other assorted crap. Listen to us if you please.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Lets travel back in time to 1999 where jack and jamie first met. It was a more simple time, gilligans island was still played on tv land and christina aguilara was in her prime. It was a sunny autumn day and pokemon cards were bing exchanged. Jamie heard from across the room "CHARIZARDS THE BEST CARD". When hearing this Jamie had to defend all the other pokemon cards in the universe and yelled "NO ITS NOT!" and the two became good friends somehow. After many years of friendship, Jamie and Jack now needed a drummer. There old drummer Calvin just wasnt cutting it as his arthritus was kicking in and Brian Evans was unfortunately shot one night. But fortunately they did find a drummer. Jack was a big fan of this band called Klump 223, and Alex Cafone was the drummer for this band. Jack won over little alex by making him big signs they say YOU SHIVER MY TIMBERS LITTLE ALEX and soon alex joined the 3 piece basement band that is, The Sandwiches.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet, we're gonna start to play shows in May. Emo Nicole's birthday, ALRIGHT!!
Your musical influences
Blink 182 (we've been told we sound like old blink), NOFX, Weezer, Descendents, and some assorted ska bands.
What equipment do you use?
Fender Stratocaster and P-Bass, Line 6, Fender Bassman 100, and those things Alex hits.
