The Roadhouse Jukes came about from a friendship I have had for over 30 years. We have played together for a very long time and decided it was time to make our own music. The writing, arranging, rehearsing and recording of this CD took about 2 years. There is alot of other material that didn't make it onto the album.Have you performed in front of an audience? From time to time, when we are invited. Concerts only. Performing live is the best.
Your musical influences
I have been a composer, bassist, and guitarist for a very long time. I have many influences. The influences that I have drawn on for The Roadhouse Jukes have been Led Belly, Lightin' Hopkins, Leo Kotke, Son House, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robin Ford, John Hammond, B.B. King, Albert Collins, Howlin' Wolf, Ray Brown and too many more to mention. What equipment do you use?
I play a Martin HD-28, a Fender FR49 resophonic, a Fender Jazz 5-string Bass, and a Fender 4-string Jazz Special Bass.Anything else?
The community of music brings us together. Let's all celebrate that!

Waltzing Through A Rock And Roll Life!!
Wow! My first message board post with this community, but after hearing your music, ya know, it's What's gotta be done! I love what I'm hearing. I just posted my music and was looking around to what the local musicians had to offer. Not looking to "pimp" my site at all... Just wanted to let you know, after a long, LONG session of hearing stuff almost as bad as mine, running into your music is like a breath of fresh air. NICE stuff, man. Do you ever play locally? I'd love to catch you live and relax with a good beer. Man, suddenly I'm thirsty. I'll settle for my coffee for now. At least I have some great tunes to go with it now.
Thanks for letting me hear your music.
Great stuff!!!

Hi CJ
thanks for dropping by and listening to my stuff, I'm glad you like what you heard and thank you for the kind words. I'm very impressed with "Muddy Water" what brand of slide guitar did you use on this track? It would be great if you would spread the word as you mentioned - the more people that get to know us through the internet the easier it will be to maybe get some gigs when I visit the States next year. Look forward to hearing some more tracks from you and I hope to be going in to the Studio before the end of the year.
Keep in touch!
Love the ROADHOUSE JUKES, great tracks, vocals like John Foggerty ... clean blues and rockabilly guitars ... put the TRAIN OF TIME in the rockabilly catagory as well, CJ.
