my name is theresa powell. i am a solo artist and ive just recently found a producer that is willing to work with my sound and budget. im struggling but to God be the glory everything seems to be working itself out and coming together. ive been writing for about 3yrs. now and singing all my life in church. dont want to be a star never did, but i do, now, wnat to tell the world of the goodness and mercies of God. there is so much that God has brought myn through. I know this sounds like everyone else that talks about the Lord, but for me it's real. i truly have a miraculous story about my life and the life of my daughter, MJ. i can truly say that God saved me from myself and all that was trying to devour me. He has also restored unto me most of the things i believed i was lacking. leave me a message and we can chat alittle more about my life. i will tell you everything andmy music will to so take a listen.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
NONE REALLY. BEEN GRINDING AND PRAYING FOR 3YRS. NOW AND EVERTHING SEEMS TO BE FALLING INTO PLACE. ITS TRULY A BLESSING FORM THE LORD BECAUSE IM MEETING PEOPLE WHOM 3 YRS. AGO I WOULDNT HAVE HAD THE SLIGHTEST IDEA OF HOW TO GET IN CONTACT WITH. THEY ARE LITERALLY FALLING OUT OF THE SKY AND INTO MY LAP. AND YOU KNOW THASTS EXACTLY WHAT A BLESSING IS!!!:)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
ive sung in church most of my life. i think thats as live as you can get. in front of a crowd several times coutning school talents show and other talent competitions. i really didnt have a purpose back then, but i do now. my 1st live performace at Da Lounge in conyers, ga. was different and i learned alot about myself and others. i dont sing for the glory of myself. i learned that i sing for the edification of God and i tell stories in my music thats about my life and i think thats why people get my music. hope you do!:)

What equipment do you use?
A COMPUTER WITH AUDACITY RECORDING SOFTWARE THAT I DOWNLOADED FOR FREE. CANT PLAY AN INSTRUMENT AND THATS WHY I NEED PRODUCERS,LOL.
