The Remnants
The Remnants
The Remnants are a classic rock/R & B band from The Pacific Northwest. They specialize in soulful harmony vocals, excellent guitar, saxaphone, and drum solo arrangements. The Remnants are a high energy, well accomplished group of musicians and friends who love what they do.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Remnants were founded in 1992 by,
Dave Harkness and Dave Van Cleave. These two longtime friends have known each other for over thirty-five years. Together, with Kevin Lyons on Tenor Sax and Larry Dennis on drums they began a continuous run of uplifting well accomplished music and vocals that are still going strong today. Bob Pollock, Gary Crooks, and Mark Harkness have shared lead guitar duties with Dave Van Cleave over the years. Kevin Lyons, Sue Orfield, Scott Adams, Cliff Colon, and Michael Hershman have shared saxophone duties over the years. Jeff Noyes, Thomas Fitzpatrick, Mark Watson, and Jain Reidell have also played drums for The Remnants.
In addition, The Remnants have shared the stage many times with Jerry Miller,
(of Moby Grape fame), who is #68 on the top 100 list of the all time greatest guitar players in Rolling Stone Magazine.
