THe ReD eFFeCT
The Red Effect is blend of hard catchy riffs and dark melodic melodies that give them their signature sound. Their influences include Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Hum, and Failure. Dedication and motivation are two factors that make The Red Effect what they are: Determined to play and make music for a living. And motivated they are. Their intense practice schedule allows them to produce solid songs that are filled with energy and emotion. Each band member contributes equally to the quality of a song and everyone does their part to promote and make every show a success.
Their energetic live act has brought in large crowds to various venues throughout the Chicago land area such as The Elbo Room, Lyons Den, The Note, US Beer Company, North Beach, and 602 North. Their music is currently airing on five different radio stations in the Midwest, and two of their songs were featured on one hour TV program put together by Proartist.com that airs in Columbus, Ohio
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play as many as five shows a month. We have a very energentic live show. We have played all over the city of Chicago and the suburbs at places like The Elbo Room, Lyon's Den, Beat Kitchen, US Beer Company, 602 North, North Beach, and Synergy.
