The Red Death
What's up everyone. The Red Death is a metal/hardcore band from Bath, NY (except for me [Nate], I live in Rochester.) If you like bands like Unearth, Undying, Caliban, Prayer for Cleansing, At the Gates, Darkest Hour, Between the Buried and Me, etc...give us a shot.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Graham (drums), Josh (guitar) and Paul (vocals) were in a band called Another Day Forgotten from Bath. That band broke up and they started TRD with two other younger Bath-ites. They recruited me (Nate) to play guitar for a weekend that their guitarist at the time could not make because of high school responsibilities, and eventually asked me to join full time. Later on, we parted ways with the bass player and replaced him with Jed. And that's us now.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live as often as possible. We've been on various weekends, and a week long tour last summer. Shoot us an email at red_death_metal_assassins@hotmail.com if you want us to come to your town, and we will plan for it on our next tour.

What equipment do you use?
Josh and Nate both play Peavey Ultra Plus heads (the ones that light up) through Peavey 412MS cabinets. Nate has a Schecter and Josh has an LTD. Jed has a Hartke bass amp and cabinet and an Ibanez bass. Graham has a jazz sized Pearl Masters Studio drum set and various Zildjian and Sabian cymbals. He also has a DW9000 double-bass pedal. Paul has a bunch of cells and muscles in his throat. And yes, I know we're not a techno band. Though there is some sort of ambient band called The Red Death. I'm sure they suck though.
