Sudden Death is the definitive comedy rap group. Not to be confused with the other comedy rap group on SoundClick named Sudden Death. (?!?!)

Fronted by comedian Tom Rockwell, Sudden Death has made a name for themselves on the nationally syndicated Dr. Demento Show. In 1998 their tribute to South Park titled "South Park Junkie" became the fourth most reuqested song of the year and was later featured on a Dr. Demento compilation. The group returned to the Funny 25 countdown again in 2002 hitting #1 with a duet called "Peter Parker", and again in 2003 at #6 with "Ozzman." Additionally in 2003 a song called "Dead Rappers" was featured on another Dr. Demento compilation. "He writes some of the funniest rap lyrics I've ever heard" says Dr. Demento.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

Sudden Death performs regularly at science fiction and comedy conventions, clubs, and concert halls. Although four guys work on the Sudden Death songs Tom "Devo Spice" Rockwell usually performs solo, or sometimes as a duo with whoever is available. The live show they put on is not to be missed. The show features videos and animations which accompany the music, as well as costumes, props, and even puppets.
