The Real DJ Murder
I mix a lot of things, it just depends on what i'm feeling that day.
Check the news, kids.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not at the moment, but if anyone in the South is looking for a club DJ, I'd be more than interested.
Your musical influences
For this project, my musical influences are, first and foremost, my boy Bruce Dupre, a.k.a. seestrings (if it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be making this form of music), ummm Paul Oakenfold definitely, the X-Ecutioners (who, if you haven't heard them live, they are extremely diverse), Leftfield, all the members of the "Get Your Bootleg On" Forum, as well as numerous others.
I am also influenced very strongly by Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 311, Notorious B.I.G., Mos Def, James Brown, and a lot of other artists from an extremely wide variety of backgrounds.
What equipment do you use?
ACID 4.0, Fruityloops 3.56, A special effects processer for my guitar (I think it's an RP200, i'm too lazy to go check.)
Anything else?
Big-ups to all the people I play music with (live and digital), and to my good friend Matt for supplying me with all the pictures he took, and allowing me to use 'em here.
