Band/artist history
The Pussyclub came to life at the end of last years summer, as my solo project.. It started out as an Electronica/synth-project containing me (Jon Martens), my Microkorg, Ms20, Polysix, Roland Jupiter 4, my guitar, Cubase, my heart and my voice.. This is my first time ever singing.. She's Dead is the first song I recorded as The Pussyclub.. Iv'e written and recorded all songs in my rehearsal-studio located in a closed down harbour area outside my hometown.. The sound is dirty and rough, just like it's supposed to be!! I love noise.. Noise with soul.. The sound-image changed slightly as I started to add live drums instead of programming, giving the whole production a more live feeling.. All of a sudden it sounded more and more like rock'n'roll, at times like garage-rock.. I discovered how good analogue synthezisers and noisy, dirty, messy, fucked up rock'n'roll sounded together.. Found a lot of inspiration in the now desolved Memephis band, Lost Sounds.. With The Pussyclub I found my very own unique sound that I'm still develloping and experimenting with.. I'm Working on several new songs, using the same receipt.. Emotional melodies, loud, dirty guitars, noisy drums and more analogue synths.. It comes straight from the bottom of my heart.. I'm going in a professional studio during july/august to record my first album, and I'm very curious to see if I can maintain the dirty sound image in a professional studio, since I feel that the sound image I've got now, is a sentral part of what makes my music sound so good... I have recruited a new member, Simon. H Hansen on addidional guitars . So, Please enter The Pussyclub and enjoy the image of our heart, soul and love.
