The Professors
Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A., The Professors specialize in but one thing, and one thing alone: hip-shakin’, rafter-swingin’, barn-stormin’ rock ‘n’ roll. These five lads offer up a suitable alternative to higher education via trashy 12-bar rave-ups and an incendiary (or least, incandescent) live act.
Taking their cue from such legendary raunch-and-rollers as THE SONICS, THE WILDE KNIGHTS, and THE SPARKLES, The Professors received the good word and have made it their mission to deliver the Now-Sound to the untamed youth of today.
The Professors have had audiences stomping, shouting, and workin’-it-on-out since June of 2004. Despite the departure of co-founding guitarist “Crazy Joe” Tritschler soon thereafter, a primitive garage rock monster had been brought to life and could not be restrained.
Richard M.F. Stockton XII swings the mic, while Brian “Boss Hogg” Hoeflich assaults a wide range of vintage guitars. Tommy Raygun mashes the keys, and Boom-Boom tears the drumkit a new one. Meanwhile, Dangerous Derek G. pummels the bottom end until the last beer glass rattles off the table.Band/artist history
