From the ashes of a little known rock combo that went nowhere by the name of Fat Elvis, comes a band that will tear the heart out of rock & roll and throw it right back in its dirty face.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Popstar Massage Units are lead by Michaelor RG (rock god)as he tells us to all call him, on Guitar & Vocals with Gayle bringing up the backbeat from behind and on occasion Vocals. New frontman Doug has slotted in nicely, belting out the tunes like there's no tomorrow. Bass slot is currently vacated by the lovely Kayte on Synth.
Based in Brisbane in Queensland Australia The Popstar Massage Units are just
about to start their assult on the punters of Brisbane. Playing mostly originals
and being very guitar driven, they have a sound all of their own. Diverse and
finely crafted, their music will appeal to all.
Their live show is very energetic and very loud, the punters get right into it,
which in turn just makes this band go off! From Losing it, which showcases the
beautiful rich voice of Gail, to the swampy Creedence feel of Soul Revival, you
are sure to be taken under the spell of this band.
