The Paul Brodt Quartet
We are a modern jazz group playing mostly all originals of mine. The members include Chuck Payne on drums, Andrew Gordon on Bass, Andrew Lienhard on piano, and myself on alto sax.Band/artist history
We all gig with various other groups. Our quartet started as a joint venture by the drummer, Chuck Payne, and myself to start a jazz group that doesn't stick to the safe path that most groups use, playing the same old standards and styles. We wanted to start a group that dealt heavily with odd time signitures and unconventional forms.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play at jazz clubs around the Houston area.
