THE PARTY was formed in the late 90's & have several underground releases to their name. In 2000 there was an album (on Positive Records) called "Belly Up" which is not particularly well liked by 'PARTY mainman James Scott. In 2001, once Scott had taken over production duties, there was the "Ockham's Razor E.P." (on theColchester Recordings label), followed in 2002 by the ultra-collectable "When You Came" 7" on Always Face The Sea Records & an appearance on a compilation album on Matchbox Recordings.
2003 saw the release of the "It's the small things that keep you awake..." mini album (also on Colchester Recordings), the previously unreleased song "A Cavalcade of Monkeys" on the "Yeah, it's Supposed to Sound Like That...vol 1" compilation (again on Colchester Recordings), and "Your Beautiful Wife" turned up on the "Public Service Broadcast #1" compilation on Smalltown America Records. Due out at any moment is a cover of "Beleive" by CHER (!??!?!!) on a 90's pop tribute album on Blod Records.
