Honky Tonk meets Rockabilly occasionally slams into Rock and Roll. Jeff Graham-guitar/vocals, Dave White-bass/vocals, Texas Playboy-drums/vocals. All having long rock and roll pedigrees, Dave's is probably the longest, having played with Steve Pryor, Dwight Twilley, Wanda Jackson, Brian Parton, and many others.
Band/artist history
Individually, too long for here. We're all "seasoned." Collectively, March 2002 to present day (Aug. 2004). Three Tulsa musicians who love the nexus of roots rock and roll, classic country (nothing after 1975), occasional blues spurts, and were ready to play the crap out of it.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play as live as possible, sometimes more so than others. Our recent circuit has consisted of Tulsa (Arnie's Bar and Unit D), Joplin,MO, and Springfield, MO. Special moments? For me, (Jeff Graham) it would be some Arnie's gigs in the summer of 2002. Tables were danced upon. Much jocularity.
Your musical influences
Buck Owens, Faron Young, Elvis, Beatles, Howlin' Wolf, and James Garner.
What equipment do you use?
Electricity!
Anything else?
Fire!
