June 18, 1981 Onta Thomas was given life and a strong urge to create music. Flint, MI was the birthplace, where the music scene was shallow. The "Bad Guy" took on these challenges at the young age of eight years old. The will to create poetry and music was always in his heart; especially after listening to LL Cool J, Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane. Nas, B.I.G., Tupac, Rakim and Jay-Z also became his favorites too. Bad Guys mother was against rap for him, but realized her son had a gift. By 14, Bad Guy finally graced a industry professional recording studio. His relatives, Fflame at the time were signed to a major label. The label was looking for rap acts, but didnt control Fflames situation correctly. They eventually left the label and young Bad Guy had to start from square one. He soon collaborated with fellow rappers in the neighborhood, 1000 Bars, Apollo and Mass Money formed a group called Bred Thoro. They eventually created their own record label called Family Over Riches Entertainment and never looked back. Bad Guy pursued his dream with a bullet. He recorded non-stop throughout high school, so by 17-18 he was beyond ready. He had family and Bred Thoro helping him so the support was there. Shows were booked in Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Georgia, New York, Kentucky and of course Michigan. Every where he performed the loved him. Bad Guy has opened up for artist such as Fabolus, Lox, Juvenile, Too Short, D-12, Purple Gang, Ludacris, Dayton Family, Clipse, T.I. and others. Also, Bad Guy has been on many mixtapes in ATL, NY and MI; he also had done his own mixtapes, which sell underground heavily. Dope Boy records is currently in the movement with Bad Guy. Along with such label mates as 1000 Bars, Apollo and other artist mentioned in Family Over Riches Enertainment are working hard for the future. The Dope Boy Records independent entertainment company also specialize in producing talented R&B acts as well. This musical motivation gives Bad Guy the drive and edge needed to succeed as an artist in these times. Bad Guy: The poet, writer, entertainer and artist is now better than before and still growing. Currently looking for a major label to support his success. The "BadGuy" is a product of experience and learning from it. I'm influenced first by the Hip-Hop culture. Motown, Def Jam, Inerscope, Sony and many other record company's influence me to be more of a company like them, (Business Man) as well as an artist.What equipment do you use?
