My name is Mike, I'm 19 years old and was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I started rapping when I was about 9 years old, writing down rhymes and stuff...recorded myself on the tape player from time to time. I never really started recording until about 6 months ago...but I've come a long way since then. The main reason why I rap is because of my father: The Legendary Grandmaster Caz of the Cold Crush Brothers, and ghostwriter of Rapper's Delight.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have performed at a few local clubs, such as Club 41, and the Sound Pound. At a few parties as well.
Your musical influences
A lot of old-school hip-hop, Cold Crush Brothers, Run D.M.C., etc. And a lot of modern rap as well. Young Dro, Twista, T.I., Bone Thugs. I also have a few bands that play locally with a rock sound that have influenced me to dabble in the rock genre.
