The Obvious was formed in spring of 2007. This is a Power Trio of teens bringing back 90's pop punk, but with a twist.

Brian Donnelly Had an idea to form a band and Jon Burns wanted in on the idea. In March of 2007, They brought Rafael Angelucci into the band. There one song demo entitled Wishing Well was made at Crystal Records on March, 27, 2007. After that the band wrote more songs and begun there first record Half a Mile in June 2007. After June they recorded two songs, "Party" A well known song by locals, and less popular "Lordie Linda Lou". after that Rafael left the band for other reasons and Dan Herrmann joined. The band has played alot of local shows and made a new recording "Cindy Manson" ever since the band is rising with popularity.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play shows around the Chicagoland area.

Live- Crate GLX1200H 120W Head, Powered into a Crate GT412 4x12" cab all used for, Clean, Distorted, and Chorus channels. Studio- Fender Frontman Combo. Brian uses Horizon HBGS Shrink-Wrapped Guitar cables.
2 Custom Squier Bullet Guitars. Both use GHS Boomer extra light strings.
Dan Herrmann(Bass)---
Live- Fender Rumble 100 bass Combo. Studio- Direct. Dan uses a non brand American fender bass replica. ernie ball strings. Go live cables.
Jon Burns(Drums)---
Percusion Plus Drums (RED). uses Zidjian Cymbals, 1ride, 2crash, 1hihat. Jon uses Vic Firth drumsticks and REMO headsAnything else?
