Band/artist history
The Never Generics, formerly known as Red Zebra started in the summer of 2004, originally consisting of Dave Harries on guitar, James Hearn on drums and Will Scott on vocals and sax. About two months after Red Zebra was formed, Dave decided to change to bass whilst Sam Perry took up position as lead guitar. In December 04 James Gibson became part of the band with his natural talent on bongos shining through and his backing vocals giving more depth to the band.
After months of hard work the band finally got its breakthrough after playing on jamming night at the Marrs Bar(www.marrsbar.co.uk) in April of this year. They were contracted to Playing The Field (www.playing-the-field.com) and have since played a gig supporting Backwash and Wagstaffe, and after another jam night at the Marrs Bar, are starting to emerge as the bright hope of the music industry for the future.
