A 3 piece hard rock band from St. Augustine, FL. Formed in 1994 from 3 life long friends. The Mourning Wood is a raw, up front and in your face hard rock band mixing tradition style vocals with an almost agressive rap lyric. We have currently released 3 c.d.'s with THE MOURNING WOOD. The latest and the best entitled, PLANETS PAST PLUTO. We have about 4 singles on this record and we are currently looking for promoters for this record.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes!! We play live alot! Venues such as; The Orlando Arena, T.D. Waterhouse, The House of Blues, Hard Rock Live, The Sapphire Club, The Jacksonville Landing, Barbarellas, The Ocean Club, Club 5, Club Fusion, All Stars, and many many more. Playing out live is the reason we play music.
