The Morning
The Morning is a hard rock band band from the Tri-Cities in Washington. They are composed of Mike Krantz, vocals; Dustin Phillips, lead guitar; Jamey Lamberson, bass and organ; and Brian Atkins, on drums.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
When The Morning was officially formed in 2003, they had on board lead singer/guitarist, Zach Lamberson. The group of friends had been playing music together for a while, and finally decided to make an actual band out of themselves. About a year later, they released their first EP, Paid In Full. After it's release, the band started to do several shows, playing with other bands such as Grand Prize. They earned a top spot on local radio station 91.7 FM's "Happy Rock Hour" show on Friday nights. The band became more popular, and a local fan base started sporting clothing and hats with the band's logo.
In late 2004, lead singer Zach Lamberson decided to leave band; he was getting married and taking over a leadership position at their church. Around that time, Mike Krantz (a previous member of the band for short time before his marriage) was back and began his work as the new singer of The Morning. Their new EP, Enter The Light, was finished October, 2005.
