Formed in 2007, the band's music is melodic, catchy, lively and memorable, raucous at times, tender and soulful at others.
The band won the Evening Chronicle 'Battle of the Bands' competition in 2008 with an avalanche of votes and continue to win new fans, playing regularly at such venues as the 02 Academy, The Quay, The Cumberland Arms and various music festivals around the country.
The Mojitos recorded their debut indie EP, 'Tuneage' in June 2008.
