Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Manila String Ensemble was formed in 1993 by a group of young and talented instrumentalists to provide quality chamber music to its growing number of clients. The members are graduates of the University of the Philippines and The St. Scholastica's College of Music. Two of its members hold master's degree in music from The Winthrop University and The San Francisco State University. Clients include The US Embassy, The Embassy of China, The Embassy of Korea, PLDT, Manulife, Friends of CCP, The Metropolitan Museum, Philippine Tatler and the upcoming wedding of Ms. Bernadette Sembrano on June 12, 2008. The members were also part of the Manila Chamber Orchestra and The San Miguel Philharmonic Orchestra.
