The ManiaXe

Welcome to all, we are The ManiaXe, the local, underground, hardcore rap group from Worcester MA. If you like anything from the Bloodhound Gang or WolfPac, to the Insane Clown Posse or Twiztid, then perhaps you will be interested in us. We have 2 full length CD's both independantly recorded and released. We rock hard live, and are always down for anything anytime, whether it be a live club, or party, we play hard.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The history goes like this, myself and my partner mike started this group about 5 years ago, simply for fun. We even had a 3rd member, Erik, who later left the group because he felt that he was not prepared. Soon after we started, it became serious, we wanted to make music. We the recorded 13 songs and put out an independant album called "the awakening", and did a few shows with other local groups. Almost a year later, we released another album, "absolute darkness" which blew the first away. From then on we played numerous shows and parties, and just tried to keep it real. Most recently myself and my partner in rhyme entered a MC Battle, of which we both went to the 3rd round, and I later went on to win the contest. Now we have been delayed as of late for work on a new album, and now, we shall continue with the history, as the time passes...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we do play live. Mostly at parties now, but back in the day we used to play the "Trance Buddha" in Shrewsbury MA until it was shut down. We absolutly love playing shows, its a rush, its fun, and its what we live for.
