The Lybertarians
As a copy editor & film student, my hours are bizarre -- too bizarre, really, to get a functioning band going. So I have this one-person bluesy-rock project. I compose all the music and record it, mix it, etc. This is a riffy, British-sounding blues project with some occasionally experimental overtones.
I absolutely cannot sing, so for now there are no vocals. I would love to expand this work in the future, but, for now, this is about as good as it gets for me.
Your musical influences
Bluesbreakers & Cream-era Clapton. Jeff Beck's work with The Yardbirds. The Stone Temple Pilots. Albert King, Buddy Guy. The Byrds. Some Led Zepp.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars:
*PRS SE EG (3x single coils)
*Danelectro Baritone re-issue (often tuned a full octave down, not B-to-B)
* (coming soon!!) Reverend Warhawk II HB
Amps:
*Epiphone Valve Jr. 5-watt class A amp
*Vox Big Ben valve-powered overdrive, used as a direct-input box
Effects:
*Dunlop Rotovibe

Software:
*Apple Garageband

Anything else?
Yeah. I know I'm not a virtuoso. But I love music too much not to record & take a try at playing blues.
