The Joe Bean Band is a collection of studio tunes composed and performed by one guy...... Joe Bean. Occasionally he will have guest artists play on a tune or two.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed in 1983 and starting out with a Fostex 4 track, the songs and material evolved and got better with experience and eventually better equipment.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live but only at informal partys that just for fun.
Your musical influences
Early Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Beatles, The Who, The Stones, Grand Funk Railroad ....basically all the big bands of the 60s and 70s.
Anything else?
Yeah, I do this for fun. It is something that will live on ....hopefully long after I am gone.
