Band/artist history
I started playing guitar a year ago, starting on my mom's old acoustic. I played on that for a few weeks, then I got my first electric guitar and amp, one of the Behringer starter kits. I played on that for the rest of that year, all the while saving up my money. I finally had enough to buy a new electric. I bought a Schecter C-1 Blackjack and that was one of the best days in my musical "career". I still play that guitar. Recently, my parents bought me a Spider II head and Behringer 412 cab. That's when I decided to start recording. I'm currently saving up for a seven string guitar to expand my borders.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Haven't yet, but WILL be doing so soon. I and a few others are performing for the school in a pep rally. It shall be good. You can listen to the Star Spangled Banner solo I'm doing as the opening song. :P Next semester, jazz band starts, so we'll be going to competitions to perform as well. I'm also accompaning two of my pianist friends for their recitals in December.
Your musical influences
One of my main influences is System of a Down. They are my favorite band. Extremely original and meaningful. Daron's guitar style is unique. I've been getting into a lot of prog rock now, so that's creeping its way into my style.
What equipment do you use?
Guitar: Schecter C-1 Blackjack Amp: Line 6 Spider II head hooked up to the computer with a cheap little adapter
Anything else?
Be yourself. Don't let anyone or anything tell you what you're supposed to be. You have a right to draw your own future. Make sure to use it.

np dude lol im not a dude call me sis if u like :P hmmmm.... cuz u got the guitar down well... if u'd write ur own songs u could be so pwnage... u know anyone who could sing for u, guitar + vocals= decent, really all else that you'd need is a backround filler like a bass, some strings (violinish) and drumset.
