I have not played any of my ambient music live, but it is definately something that lies in my future.
Your musical influences
The discovery of The Orb in '92 pretty much showed me that electronic music could be organic, sophisticated, powerful and beautiful. The Ambient Collections of Aphex Twin went even further... I also really admire System 7, Saru, Ulrich Schnauss, Boards of Canada, and some others
What equipment do you use?
To the annoyance and bane of hardware producers everywhere, I am another of the multidude who are primarily soft. My main set-up is Reason 3 and Sonar 5, with various plug-ins from Native Instruments, Waves and Spectatronics. The majik pot I mix it all together in is a Sony VIAO laptop.
