Punks not dead and will never die. This is proven once again by "The Hooligans". A four piece punk rock force from central Minnesota.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Fronted by J. Moder on guitar and lead vocals. J's snarly attitude driven lyrics and catchy guitar riffs. Combined with Dave Charpentiers fast, hard hitting punk rock drum beats. Add a dash of John Kordiak on 2nd guitar. Johns guitar style is comparable to Nofx and Pennywise, once you hear that pick slide you know its John. Brent Shepard, also in Phatsack, is the new edition to "The Hooligans". Brent's fast punk bass lines will make you skank and thrash until your bones are ground into flour.
Raised on punk rock and influenced by bands like Guttermouth, Rancid, and Nofx "The Hooligans" show that anyone can play punk rock but only a few get it right. "The Hooligans" have about one and half hours of material with a few covers like: Highballs-Guttermouth and Guiness Boys-The Business, but its the originals that keep the people coming back for more.
