The band is a good-time Rockin' Rhythm & Blues combo and has earned a reputation from the Blues, Roots, Swing, and retro-billy crowd as one of the best around. Past and current bandmembers include members of Jumpin' Jimes, Royal Crown Revue, Big Sandy& the Fly-Rite Boys, Deke Dickerson, James Harman, Rod Piazza, Hot Rod Lincoln, the Lucky Stars, Russell Scott &the Red Hots, Hank Ballard & the Midnighters, and many more. 

The Combo has shared bills with many local greats like Royal Crown and Big Sandy, and legends like Sam Butera. The HWC has performed at nightclubs, dances, car shows, many private events, weddings and music festivals . This year, the HWC will be featured at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly fest Saturday Night backing up legends Big Jay McNeely, Roy Gaines, and Roddy Jackson. Big Jay and the HWC will be at the post-party of the big Rockin' 50's fest in Green Bay this year also. The HWC has even appeared on prime-time television in last year's "For Love Or Money" on NBC. Don't miss them when they shake up a Moose lodge near you.

Simple. A great bunch of cats who loved to get together, have fun, and play Rhythm&Blues. 
Some faces have changed, but nothing else has.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

The first show we did with Big Jay McNeely was a night I'll never forget. It was a packed house and we played until almost 2am. Jay was absolutely unstoppable and mesmerized the crowd. It was also one of the last times we played with our brother Marco Fiume, and he sounded great that night.

What equipment do you use?

All vintage amps, drums, mics. We recorded the CD live to one-track, vocals and all. Everyone in the same room,etc. That's REALLY what the band sounds like.
