The Hayseeds
The Hayseeds are an original Honky Tonk band from Canada. The core of the band consists of Jeff Kirker and Karrie Galvin who are the principle songwriters. Our focus is on original alt. country songs with traditional country songs thrown in. Our covers have all been written earlier than 1972. We have been performing together in various bands since 1991.

We play locally in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Our influences are Ernest Tubb, George and Tammy, Dolly and Porter, Gram Parsons and Emmylou, Whiskeytown, Son Volt, Lucinda Williams among others.
