The Haters

The Haters are a five piece punk rock-and-roll band that owes as much to Chuck Berry as they do to The Adolescents. Formed in Santa Ana in the heart of Orange County by singer Eli Rainwaters, The Haters have been playing locally since 2003 and boast an energetic live show that is not to be missed. The current line up features Erik Shunn on bass, Greg 'The Kid' Garcia on drums, Rick Lozano on lead guitar and Dustin Hubbard on rhythm as well as the aforementioned singer, Eli Rainwaters. The Haters are close to completeing their first album, "Sea Shores and Liquor Stores", which they are recording with Derek O'Brien. Influences include old school punk bands like TSOL, The Clash, Agent Orange, Sham 69 and The Misfits...as well as R & B/funk acts like Morris Day & the Time, The Gap Band and the Godfather of Soul himself, James Brown.
