My name is Cory Cone. I Have been producing Electronic Industrial/Trance/EBM tracks for over 4 years. The Green Effect is a project that has been in the works for years, and most of the music that will be hosted here has been previously hosted at www.thegreeneffect.net, which is my main homepage for the music and my artwork, as well as an upto date blog.
The Green Effect is an experience in many different styles of EBM, Trance and Industrial.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, i do play live. Once a month there is an event called CoffeeHouse at MICA, and i play there. I Do enjoy it, it's quite exhilirating and it gets my music out to many people, while simultaniously exposing electronic music to a crowd of people who may not know much about it.
Your musical influences
My biggest influences range from Mind.In.A.Box, Dismantled, apoptygma berzerk, wolfshiem, funker vogt, covenant, and one, wumpscut, seabound, and countless other EBM electro acts. But also the works of Type O Negative, a non electro act, have been there for me even before i listened to electro, and their influence sneeks through often.Anything else?
This music is my heart and soul. Over the last many years i have grown considerably and hope to continue growing throught my entire musical career. I hope you enjoy.
