The Giantz are homegrown on the edge of Texas in the dusty southwest of El Paso. Formerly known as 4th Dimension, the group was developed in 1997 with an original mixture of old school hip-hop combined with an orchestrated classical sound. The strong delivery of vocals, innovative lyrics, energy and scratching techniques creates the showmanship that is given to the audience. Personality and professionalism plays a great role in the image of The Giantz. The members (D-A the I.N.M., Bless One & Arkatak the Archangel of Rap) all contribute their unique God-given talent to the performance to live up to the status of their name. Making a name with a foundation of unlimited skill is simply the icing on the cake. We believe that an artist is more likely to be successful for the rest of his or her life if he or she has the right attitude, as well as a dynamic performance. The show must be rememerable. The Giantz have proven themselves with opening acts for the following groups: Twista, Shawnna (Disturbing Tha Peace), Houston, Rock Steady Crew, Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz, Sunz of Man, Evil-E, Del the Funky Homosapian, Motion Man, Kut Master Kurt, The People Under the Stairs, The Lifesavas, Constructive Ruckus, Ink Floyd, The Chapter, Living Legends, Eyedea, 2Mex, Mystic Journeyman, Odd Jobs, Diverse, Zion I Crew, Deuce Eclipse, Lyrics Born, Tech Nyne, Roscoe, Kurupt and Wu-Tang Clan. The Giantz have also recently completed the theme song entitled "Fist of the Lonestar", for El Paso's own Rene "The Lonestar" Armijo Jr., who features on the reality t.v. show "The Next Great Champ" on FOX Tuesdays at 9/8 c, starring Oscar De La Hoya. "Fist of the Lonstar" has also been rotating regularly on KLAQ fm and KROD am sports. After completion of thier new album "The Beanstock Vol. II: Drawbridge Castle" which features artist such as Ali Shaheed Muhamaad from the legendary A Tribe Called Quest, Chip-Fu of The Fu-Shnickens, Artson from Rock Steady Crew, and many more. The new single off their debut entitled "Ways of the World ft. Annette Rios" is currently recieving an extensive amount of feedback on KPRR Power 102 fm. This is the third single from The Giantz that has recieved continuous airtime, which is more than any local artist has recieved in El Paso, Texas. What's bigger than life itself but smaller than God? A GIANT!
