The German Jazz Band was formed in 1980 by request of a mutual good friend who asked us to work together to sing a song for his wedding. 25 years later, we still are together. Band Memebers are: Dennis Reed, Tom Kurzenburger, and Will Cummings. Just your local Tavern Band! ;)
Over the last 10 years we have been writing our own songs, which are a vast array of Blues, Rock, and Jazz.

Formed 1980
1st gig: Jim & Jan Curtis wedding!
Largest gig: McCormick & Schmick's
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Do you play live? Yes. Where? Mostly private parties now. Do you like it? Yes, but we are all getting up there in age. Any special moments? I'm sure, but we were all to drunk to remember!
Your musical influences
The German Jazz Band is made up of Folk/Classical, Rock, and Country musicians. Artists such as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and Gordon Lightfoot inspired this band, now its artists like Armik, The Rippington's, and current CMT artists.
