The genius project consists of four full time members, and any number of part time members.
We like to classify our music as "funk rock" but we dont like to stick to any sort of genre.
Band/artist history
The Genius Project formed in july of 2005. we have always been friends but never really played together. then one day we decided to jam and it just fell together perfectly. Pretty much we just took it from there and it has been working so far.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. We play in mansfield, ohio,though were considering a tour for promotional purposes.
Your musical influences
We pretty much take influence from everything that we hear. Some of our Favorite bands include:
George Clinton & Pfunk, Keller Williams, Sublime, Pharcyde, Outkast, Classic rock, Classical Music, etc...just everything(even a little country)
What equipment do you use?
Acoustic Guitars (Ibanez, Hohner), Electric guitars (ESP & Strat) with fender amp, Ibanez bass w/ peavey rig, tama drums and thrown together PA system.
Anything else?
