The Genesis Experiment
The Year was 2000.
Two cats from different backgrounds [DVSJ from Chicago, Fathom 9 from Memphis]got fed up of being the only emcees in the poetry set...and started hanging and building on some next shit.
A 3rd emcee, G-Sicks from the Lower East Side in NY, came into the mix and the seeds of the Genesis was born.
Enter DJ/Engineer J Mecca from Conneticut...and the Geneis Experiment was complete.
This was the result of our 5 months of toil, sweat and hard work.

This unit disbanded in the summer of 2001.
G-Sicks is still holding it down lovely in Memphis.
Fathom 9 and DVS are known collectively as the Madman's Writers Guild...and are working collaboratively on both solo and group projects.
J Mecca is back in Conneticut working and trying to sell his music equipment...until one of us calls him and reminds him how beautiful this album was!
