The Freshmen (US)
Sixthman combines diverse musical influences ranging from Michael Jackson to Jimi Hendrix and ACDC to Marvin Gaye to establish its own unique sound. This Wisconsin-based band started with two best friends having the dream of bringing back the old school rock and pop and integrating it with that of today. Band members JaRahn Leveston (Drums, Keyboards and Vocals) and Stasia Carson (Guitar and Vocals) deliver the same intensity the sixth man off the bench gives to his/her team. Having built a local and growing fan base on sites like Myspace.com and PureVolume.com, the band hopes to soon take a front seat in the music world. Sixthmans self-written songs/lyrics and never quit attitude has helped launch them into a new musical dimension, and ultimately achieving their dream.
