The Free Samples
Well it seemed like a funny thing to do, you know to like - well sell a few songs after slaving our lives away to the muse. The best name for that project should somehow have the word 'free' in it. This feeds the Id. Oops, the Ego. Umm I always mix those two up.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We came up the hard way, like stale meatloaf and flat beer on Sunday morning.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Once we did a show in Bob's back yard. His grandma clapped like hell, but she's deaf.
Your musical influences
Joe Walsh, Billy Squier, Roger Zelazny, Ted Nugent, Michael Moorcock, Greg Kihn Band, Little Stevie Wonder
What equipment do you use?
A puck harmonica and an 8-track portable recorder. The rhythm is played on babbage engines built from tinkertoys.
Anything else?
Listen hard, I'm likely to get embarrassed any day now and wipe it all out. Good thing they archive it there (for legal reasons) so you can change your mind whenever you want afterwards.
