Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Freedom Gospel Band was formed in late 2001. It all started at their home church, Freedom Christian Center, St. Albans, WV. The band started out covering and writing songs that had the "country" sound, but have expanded their genre to include praise and worship songs as well as songs with "more edge".
Their debut CD, "Thank You Jesus" consists of traditional hymns ("Amazing Grace" & "Just As I Am"), country standards ("Put Your Hand In The Hand"), country sounding originals ("Thank You Jesus", "The Altar", "He Is The Reason", & "Heaven's Salvation") and praise and worship songs (the original "Bring The Walls Down" & "Days of Elijah"). The FGB children even have songs on the CD ("The Devil Is A Sly Old Fox" & "This Little Light Of Mine").
So, whatever your taste in music, "Thank You Jesus" is sure to please!
