Biography
THE FOURCE are four songwriter/musicians from the Chicago area who play a cross between folk rock and Americana. People have said they sound like The Traveling Wilburys. THE FOURCE promotes itself as songwriters looking to sell their songs or as a performing group selling the performance of their songs.
An original song by THE FOURCE has been recorded by a major recording artist Son Seals. In 2004 a song from the bands current CD was used in a documentary film about a California politician. In 2002 THE FOURCE contributed several songs to the soundtrack of an animated feature film.
THE FOURCE was formed in 2000 and writes and records their original songs and performs live playing their originals and cover tunes. THE FOURCE is also looking to license their original song recordings to TV, movies or other media outlets.

We have so many influences, the Beatles, Greatful Dead, Rolling Stones. People say we sound sometimes like the Youngbloods, Jimmy Buffet, REM, Traveling Wilburys, Greatful Dead.
