The Flesh and X show
The Flesh and X Show is just two guys messing around w/ computer beat programs and drums, really. We are from Buckhannon, West Virginia. The members are Joel Flesher and Joel Ewing. Flesh provides the rhythmic portions of the beats and X provides the melodic portions.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
There isn't much of a history...Flesh is a great drummer and is very musical and Joel-X is a big fan of hip-hop and just likes to mess around and make beats. We have been good friends for years, and we just got together one night messing around and made a beat just for fun. We plan to be making much more as we get more equipment and better skills, but we aren't that serious about it and just do it for fun.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No, we just make beats for fun when we get together.
Your musical influences
Flesh is a big fan of jazz music and Joel-X is an avid hip-hop fan, so it is a combination of artists from both genres. Hip-Hop influences come from: Kanye West, Just Blaze, Timberland, Dr. Dre, RZA, the Neptunes. Jazz influences come from
