Not afraid to cover just about any artist (including Spinal Tap), the Field of Carrots is famous for playing their own interpretations of famous and not-so-famous rock songs. In addition, the band performs their own original songs. A great band to have at a party.
Band/artist history
Formed in 1985 at Tufts University, The Field of Carrots has been performing together on and off for over 15 years. Performances have included clubs in Boston (The Rat, The Tam, Club 947) and Los Angeles; the band has also played private parties/functions and colleges throughout New England. The band has seen various lineups over the years, in addition to many guests sitting in with the band. Several members have gone on to form other bands, including but not limited to The Returnables, Dr. Propane, Help, Purple Crayon and M.O.D.E. The band still re-unites on occasion to blast through a set of cover songs and original music.
