The Feds (UK)
We're the Feds! A young rock band (still in our teens) from Sheffield, England.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Feds formed in June 2003. We're a young band (still very much in our teens). The Feds were formed from the ashes of two very different (now split-up) Sheffield bands: 'KarmaSupra' and 'Mezzo'. We've played ten gigs ( Leadmill, City Hall Ballroom, Casbah, Boardwalk, Grapes) already in Sheffield and have more lined up. We have appeared in a short film entitled 'Knitting A Love Song' due to be released in late 2004. We have recorded a debut EP entitled 'Moon Rider'. Its a four track CD recorded at Swing Riot during January 2004. We are awaiting reviews of the EP (which will hopefully be positive!). Our EP is always available for purchase at every gig we play.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've played at most of the venues (big and small) in our hometown of Sheffield, UK. We love playing gigs. Our best gig was probably when we played at Sheffield City Hall in december 2003 it was an exhilarating experience.
