FM (Far-east Movement)
With a purpose to MOVE EAST, FM intends to complete a full circle touching everyone around the world, spreading the Asian experience globally while opening the eyes of those searching for their own purpose. Under the CATCH RECORDS umbrella, FM has performed in various cities with the likes of Jin (Virgin/RuffRyders), Filthee Immigrants (Universal), Sugafree, Zion-I, Visionaries, Lexicon and numerous others.
With the mission to bring the Pan Asian culture to a mainstream level and a purpose to touch the community,
FM hosted and performed in the 2003 Asian Hip-Hop Summit promoting food, not bombs in North Korea held in Koreatown, Los Angeles; helped to organize and host the 2003 Chinese Lunar New Year Benefit Concert in Chinatown, Los Angeles to raise money for underpaid and mistreated workers; and in conjuction with CAUSE and CATCH RECORDS helped organize MOVEMENTALITY (www.movementality.com): a campaign to influence a new generation of Asian Americans to vote.
