Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Exums, four sisters out of a family of seven children lucky enough to have had a mother who loved to play classical music and a voice like a angel and a father who played and sang bluegrass. These girls grew up listening and singing along. With a mixture of that kind of music these girls have a unique blend of harmony and a sound that you'll never forget.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we play live, almost anywhere the mood strikes us. We love to touch listeners with our music. During the 51st Florida Folk Festival, while singing a set, an elderly gentleman broke into tears due to a recent loss in his family. Our music touched a special emotion in him that blessed him in a special way. That's what our music is all about...touching people.
