The Euphony is a new up and coming indie band from the North-West of England. The band consists of five members, Mark Collier, Alistair Robertson, Tony Ferguson, Mike Jones and Josh Young. The band writes its own material and also do covers of other famous bands from The Beatles to The Red Hot Chili Peppers, to OasisBand/artist history
The Euphony was formed on the 10th of September 2002. The original members were the lead vocalist and songwriter Mark Collier and two guitarists Alistair Robertson and Tony Ferguson. Since the band formed they have gone from strength to strength, performing in front of audiences of up to 200 people.
The band also writes its own material, most of the lyrics are written by Mark Collier while all members have an equal say in the musical compositions. Although the band has only been together for a short period of time, it has already written its first album which is due to be recorded soon.
Mike Jones joined The Euphony on Thursday 13th April 2003 as a new bass guitarist.
