Jazzy, poppy, short song with an ending that goes 'above and beyond the call of rock'n'roll'.

The power-pop of Weezer with a nice, thick edge.
Welcome to the Essentials homepage. The Essentials are in the incubation process of being a band. We still need to find a permanent drummer. But the important stuff: Power trio, from Boston, heralding the second coming (of Rock'n'Roll!).Band/artist history
The Essentials have existed in various forms since 1994. The lineup has largely consisted of Dave D., Greg L., and Raj M. We hope to have a much more intersting 'history' for you in the coming weeks...until then, the music speaks for itself (ourselves).Have you performed in front of an audience? Not yet, but we sure hope to.
Your musical influences
We love music that sounds good. That means Andrew Lloyd Weber's Jesus Christ Supserstar, Jimi Hendrix, The Jackson 5, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Dr. Dre, Phish, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ben Harper, Bob Marley, Prince, Ben Folds....we could go on forever, but hopefully you get the idea.Anything else?
A lot of this stuff is just fluff, to be honest. I'm just trying to get some stuff down. The whole point of doing this is to get some songs on the web!Contact
