The Emotikonz
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Originated in 2007 as a comic book sketch called "The Hoodz", generating basic drum tracks and experimental Electronic instrumentals before vocals were finally added in 2009. The name was changed to reflect the emotion-based music made by the band concept--an emoticon is an "emotional icon" and the band stands for "physical emotions represented by a digital face", thus the name The Emotikonz was created.
